Last blog post we talked about how to build Basic Classic Wardrobe and how versatile a LBD can be. This post is all about bringing the old school look back and werking it!
I’ve found myself quite fixated on vivid early ‘60s looks of late…
French Connection Autumn-Winter 2014 Collection is definitely drawn and inspired from the ‘60s, delicate porcelain prints inspired by Russian opulence with a hint of an icy blue pop to muted tones.
I’ve recreated an outfit borrowing bits and pieces from the past looks and styles with a subtle difference.
What I’m wearing: Tailored slouchy trouser with a loose-fit pullover, down puffer jacket styled with oxford heels, cross body bag (used as clutch) and a bright scarf worn as a substitute to necklace, resulting in that effortless borrowed-from-the-boys finish.
Accessories, I kept it minimal in gold and silver.
There, an androgynous old school look for an everyday outfit for college, work or simply going out with friends. I hope this post helps you prepare for the harsh winter that is lurking just right around the corner.
FCUK Autumn-Winter 2014 Collection is available now in stores.
