Just when we thought online shopping sites were taking over the whole in-store shopping experiences, Fabindia launches its one of a kind flagship store right here at the capital. Curious and excited to know more? Well, keep on reading.
So basically as a blogger/influencer, I go to a lot of store openings. Here’s what usually happens: people mill around, necking champagne or wine and feigning a socially acceptable measure of interest in the clothes. But not so at the Fabindia pre launch event last week on 15th March. I’ve never seen such a huge crowd with a list of activities to entertain the guests with dance numbers and good live music.
Earlier that day I had plans to attend the much awaited AIFW but as a true fan girl of Fabindia since 2005, I was so tempted to make a quick stop at the opening of Fabindia new concept in retail – The Fabindia Experience Center. In addition to its iconic product offerings, this experience center houses FabCafe, Kids’ Zone and Interior Design Studio and Organic Indian Wellness Center and Alteration Studio. I ended up hanging out at the store for almost 2 hours visiting all the four floors. Every floor I visited I started rhyming and repeating the same line, ‘I want that, that, that and that’. I even saw Rawky participating and getting all excited when we were hanging out at the Interior Design Studio. He definitely has future plans and I couldn’t help myself but giggle and hold his hands as we browse through furniture, bedding section and floor coverings etc.
